課程概述 |
This course studies existing and emerging wireless data networks for Internet access, with focuses on IEEE 802.11 networks and extensions. It covers the medium access control and networking mechanisms used in wireless access networks, as well as various performance modeling and simulation techniques for these networks. |
|
課程目標 |
The goal of this course is to introduce the design, analysis, and simulation of wireless networks for Internet access through exposing students to standard specifications and hands-on network simulations. |
